Another incredible weekend in the sunshine.  Peter didn't love soccer this week but he did play for a while, including this throw-in:

We arrived early for a change, and it turns out he really enjoyed sitting on the bleachers and cheering for his friends on another team.  While he refrained from acting like a tyrannosaurus rex on the field this week, he did fly around like an airplane a bit.  As I sighed, a girlfriend leaned over and reminded me that his imagination would serve him so well - just maybe not on the soccer field.  Another plus:  he didn't try to whistle like he did last week.  We convinced him that was the referee's job, not his.  Our little hall monitor.

Hydrangeas and azaleas in bloom.  Our trees are sprouting leaves again, filling up the canopy in our back yard.  Runny noses amok.  Chief has decided his favorite hang out spot is the sandbox, so he and Davis have been having sand wars all afternoon.  Those two are getting to be nearly inseparable.  Funny how they just played while the rest of us picked up about a gagillion sticks from the storm last week...

In my efforts to "keep calm and carry on," it appears as though someone else in the family has taken on this slightly more realistic mantra as his own.  Hint:  he talks but he doesn't have a job.

My latest project to go along with my newest obsession.  I clearly need to hide a level in Peter's work bench because I'm over there re-leveling at least twice a day and the trips to the tool shed are getting on my nerves.  Waiting on the 'money shot' of both boys together to go in the big blank frame...
