happy father's day

Father's Day was, not surprisingly, a difficult day for me growing up.

It wasn't until Hayes and I started a family of our own that I began to think of this day as more than a reminder of the father I didn't have. It has become a day to celebrate the ones I have.

And of course, all my favorite uncles.

It takes a village, folks... and how lucky my boys are to be a part of this one.
