As Hayes pointed out in the previous post, Peter slept until 7am twice in a row. Now, perhaps you're not sure why that is even noteworthy. Here's the nutshell: Peter has awoken before 5:30 am (often before 5) every morning for the past 4 months. We finally came to a place where he would stay in his room, but a sound machine masks only so many siren sound effects and blocks being knocked over. But I digress...
The past two days have brought a cheerful, well-mannered, affectionate, cuddly, Mommy-loving little boy back into my life. Davis might could stand a slightly gentler version of Peter, though! Nonetheless, we are enjoying this transformation, as brief as it may be.
Crossing our fingers that bad habits can disappear as suddenly as they appear...
